About Us

Prairie Skye Farms is a family owned grain and beef cattle farm near Lougheed, a small town in east central Alberta. We have a 400 head cattle herd and we seed 6600 acres of annual crops. Our team consists of 6 full-time employees and several seasonal employees at peak times of the year. We also work closely with our agronomist, marketing advisor, and cattle nutrition consultant year round.

We believe strongly in the importance of family, hard work, and giving back to our communities. We produce the very best quality products that we can, while always keeping the health of the land and the environment as a top priority.
